I've decided that Karma really does take her own sweet time... but it's so worth it. Everything that has happened to me in my life has brought me to this exact moment, at precisely the right time.

What's Really Important

In order to understand the content of the site I previously wrote about, one only need to walk around the campus of UCDHSC and see all of the earbuds "magically" growing out of people's ears. The cultural phenomenon of the iPod is truly world-wide, and we can view a small microcosm of it simply by walking around our campus. I think that there really isn't too much difficulty in understanding the site, as we all have been exposed to the influence of the Apple line of products in some way.

The people who would tend to visit this site are those that first of all, know of its existence, and second, those who know that they can get quality merchandise at a reasonable cost. While the site is designed toward those that “know” what they want, there is still plenty of room for exploration on the site…. Perhaps a chance for a repeat visitor to find out something new about a product that they were previously interested in. While the references and language in the site are geared toward someone who has an understanding of electronic items, it certainly doesn’t patronize those who don’t. The details in the descriptions of each item for sale are helpful, and there is also a way to contact the site owner should one have questions or concerns about a particular product.

The site was made for the purpose of selling electronic items, as well as (I’m sure) to make some semblance of a profit for the site owner. This site has lots of “company” with other websites offering the same thing, however I think that this site interests the view from the beginning. It isn’t like some of the sites that I’ve seen that look like a used-car salesman designed them! Were a reader to fully view the site (clicking on each navigation button) there is even a link to the previously-mentioned St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
. This would allow a reader to not only go to their official website but perhaps become involved with their organization. The notation that part of the profits from the sales will go directly to them is important. I think that it provided the potential customer with important knowledge that all of their money isn’t simply going into the bank account of the site owner.
